Tulum, Mexico

Located in the middle of the jungle on a pristine part of the Caribbean, Papaya Playa is a shared playground for the creative community to reconnect with nature with an urban spirit.

The charming, no-frills interior design features natural wood, cream-colored stone walls and eye-catching colors.
The rooms invite residents to soak up the warmth of the elements, both physically and spiritually. The separation between man and nature disappears in these rustic rooms, and the lack of electrical outlets is a welcome reminder to truly disconnect. The ultimate luxury in most cabañas is the private veranda, where guests swing in hammocks in tune with the relaxed rhythm of Tulum.

Local materials like bamboo and palapa thatch perfectly complement the hotel's beachfront location.
Located on a 900-meter stretch of the Riviera Maya, the barefoot luxury camp has an urban spirit that encourages visitors to come together and be inspired. The thatched cabañas are ecologically built with local materials, including palapa roofs, wood/plaster walls, and bamboo window coverings. Each has a rustic charm while celebrating the luxury of simplicity.

Tulum, Mexico

Location

Tulum is a city on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. It is known for the well-preserved remains of a Mayan port village. The largest building is the Castillo, built of stones, which stands on a cliff overlooking the white sand beach and turquoise sea. Near the ruins is Tulum National Park, a coastal area of mangroves and cenotes (collapsed limestone caves filled with fresh water).
